A award distribution ceremony for girl’s Scouting Day, International Women’s Day and International Mother’s Day held on the National Headquarters of the scouts in Dhaka on Tuesday, 13 May 2025. Advisor Sharmin S murshid was the chief guest of this program.
Adviser of Social Welfare and Women and Children Affairs announced that a social force is forming for women safety against violence and threats by Government. This force will reach door to door of every victim in this country. Problems will be listened carefully and proper steps will be taken to solve every problems.
Also added, another unit of this force will be prevent the cyber bullying. That unit will be led by a team of female employees where scout girls will be included.
According to the Adviser, just how women led every struggle in history, they will courageously stand up against injustice in that way in society.
In addition, she said that the discipline and activities of scouting helps to be a good person also advance in their career to a greater extent.
Other Speeches delivered by Executive Director of Bangladesh Scouts Md. Shamsul Haque and Joint Convener of the Girl-In-Scouting of Bangladesh Scouting Sub-Committee Nurunnahar Rupa.
And Convener Mahenur Jahan of National Committee of Bangladesh Girl-In-Scouts was presented as the program president.
