Ambassador Yao Wen, China’s representative in Bangladesh, has appealed for an affair probe into alleged terrorist activities as a means to de-escalate tensions between India and Pakistan.
During such significant times, he maintained that China would always side with what is right, highlighting that his country would assist Bangladesh in upholding its sovereignty.
On Thursday, May 8th, the two nations agreed to maintain their diplomatic relationship, established half a century ago. It has consistently shown stable development, irrespective of global and regional shifts.
In addition, they concurred on the importance of based to the five principals of peaceful coexistence, fostering their traditional bond, Deeping political mutual trust, harmonizing their development approaches, and further strengthening the China-Bangladesh comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership to deliver greater advantages to their countries and citizens.
Furthermore, it was announced by Ambassador Wen that the commerce minister from his country will arrive in Bangladesh later this month, bringing with him hundreds of investors and businessmen.
Remarkably, he said that no trade delegation of this size has ever come to Bangladesh, an event he believes will lead to a greater expansion of trade between the two nations.
Lastly, Yao Wen remarked that reforms are a sovereign matter for Bangladesh, expressing China’s preference not to interfere with comments in the way some Western countries do.
