Hasan began his undergraduate studies in EEE at the University of Dhaka in 2008. After completing his Bachelor’s degree in 2013, he earned his Master’s degree in 2014. Shortly after, he joined the same department as a lecturer, initiating his academic profession.
In 2016, he moved to the United States to pursue a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Hawaii. Upon completing his doctorate, he returned to Bangladesh and continued teaching at the University of Dhaka.
Between 2014 and 2022, he served as a lecturer at Dhaka University. He was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2022, and later to Associate Professor in 2024, recognizing his continued contributions to teaching and research.
In 2023, Hasan was selected as a JSPS Invitational Fellow at Kyoto University in Japan, further expanding his international academic exposure. Building on that success, he began his postdoctoral fellowship at Duke University in August 2024, under the prestigious Fulbright program.
His journey from Dhaka University to one of the top research universities in the U.S. serves as an inspiration for young Bangladeshi scholars aiming to contribute globally through research and innovation.
