“From Dhaka to Google Suites: Ahabara Jahan’s Journey Proves Resilience Can Rewrite Your Destiny”

Ahabara Jahan stands as an inspiring example of how unwavering self-confidence combined with resilience and determination can transform a person’s life and career. Originating from Bangladesh, Ahabara’s journey is a testament to overcoming obstacles and seizing opportunities, even when the path isn’t straightforward. Despite having pursued a degree in Business Education, she currently holds a prestigious position as a Technical Recruiter at Google, one of the most renowned multinational corporations in the world.

Born and raised in Dhaka, the bustling capital of Bangladesh, Ahabara attended an English medium school, where she built a strong academic foundation. After completing her A-levels in 2010, she initially aspired to study law, driven by her personal interests and ambitions.

However, honoring her mother’s wishes, she made a significant personal sacrifice and chose to study Business Education and Administration at the University of Dhaka. In 2015, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, achieving a CGPA of 2.90. Though this academic score was modest, it did not reflect the magnitude of her determination, spirit, and potential.

With a mindset fueled by confidence and an unyielding drive, Ahabara embarked on her professional journey by securing a marketing internship at Foodpanda, an emerging platform in the food delivery sector. Shortly thereafter, she joined an Italian multinational company, Perfetti Van Melle, as an HR Management Trainee. Her commitment and talent soon earned her a promotion to Deputy Manager, marking an important milestone in her career.

In 2020, faced with family circumstances, Ahabara made the bold decision to relocate to Germany. There, she undertook the challenge of learning a new language and adapting to an entirely different culture. Through perseverance and self-initiative, she attended numerous interviews and ultimately landed a role as a Technical Recruiter at ContecX, a stepping stone that expanded her expertise in talent acquisition.

Her dedication did not go unnoticed. She soon received an offer from Nash Direct, a recruitment partner for Google. In 2022, this opportunity culminated in her appointment as a Technical Recruiter directly with Google’s headquarters in Germany. This achievement is not just a personal success, but also a proud moment for Bangladesh.

Ahabara Jahan’s story highlights the power of resilience, adaptability, and ambition. It underscores how success is often built on the foundation of persistence, courage to embrace change, and the ability to transform setbacks into opportunities. Today, she serves as a role model for many, proving that with determination and hard work, it is possible to rise beyond circumstances and make a mark on the global stage.
