NeoScreenix. The team of five students from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). The team won the Digital Health Track 2025 championship at the John’s Hopkins Healthcare Designcompetition for inventing technology to detect Breast Cancer at an early stage.

The internationalJohn’s Hopkins Healthcare Design Competition is organized annually byJohn Hopkins Center for Bioengineering Innovation and Design. It is an institution of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University in the United States. The aim of the competition is to find innovative solutions to ant healthcare problem from teams from the world’s best universities. About 440 proposals from 44 countries participated in this year’s competition in three categories. Which are- Solutions for Advanced Health Systems, Global Health/ Humanitarian Design, Digital Health.

The team ofNeoScreenixwon the first place in the Digital heath Track category of the competition, beating out students from universities like Harvard, MIT, Stanford and Caltech.
