UAE Ambassador to Dhaka Abdullah Ali Alhamudi has announced that a limited number of Emirates visit visas have been introduced for Bangladeshis, after a long time.
He made this remarks during a meeting with Lutfe Siddique, the special envoy of the Chief Advisor to the interim government, On Sunday, May 4.
Later, the Chief Advisor’s Deputy Press Secretary, Abdul Kalam Azad Majumder, gave this information.
According to him, an average of 30-50 visit visas are being issued daily. In addition, group visa processing for business delegations has been expedited, which will further deepen bilateral relations and public relations.
The Ambassador also said that as a result of continuous diplomatic engagement between the governments of Bangladesh and United Arab Emirates (UAE), there has been significant progress in visa issuance for Bangladeshis.
